An outstanding setting
Located in the Parc Naturel Régional des Préalpes d’Azur (Nature park), La Penne, once a regional (Val de Chanan) stronghold overlooking the Estéron valley, amazes the visitor with both the beautiful mildness of the landscape and the vastness of the panorama on the Préalpes de Grasse mountains, from the Arpille to the the Mount Vial.
La villa du Collet offers three guest rooms, all comfortable and large, distributed over two floors. Entirely renovated with taste and simplicity, mixing historical furnitures and modern equipment (heating, bathroom), those bedrooms offer, in an extraordinary atmosphere, all the comfort that visitors in quest of calm and serenity can expoect.
Ideally located close to the village, on a 7 ha estate of hay fields, woods, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and hives, unusual and unique places lovers will surely find here their heart’s desire.
The estate
Located on a small plateau West of the village, allowing nice views of it and a stupendous 180° panorama on the Préalpes de Grasse mountains, the Villa du Collet estate extends over 7 hectares of flowering hay fields.
The villa
Former 18th century sheepfold, enlarged and reconfigured into a charming villa in the 19th century, Le Collet has been completely restored using exclusively ecological materials, in particular clay and lime coatings.
Committed to the energy transition, at Le Collet heat (domestic hot water, central heating) is exclusively produced from both a solar thermal system and a wood boiler.
The "Préalpes d'Azur" natural park
Belvedere dominating the Préalpes de Grasse, the village of La Penne is located about 10 kilometers south of Puget-Théniers. Numerous and various possibilities of cultural and outdoor sporting activities are offered to our visitors.
